So why a dragon, why a circle?

So why a dragon, why a circle?

As a tight-knit brother/sisterhood we are linked in a circle, shoulder to shoulder, fighting for a unified purpose in one of the toughest jobs on the planet—the Oil Patch! In a circle we are all equal. No one is greater than another. Together in a circle, we support one another. In a circle, we are never alone—a crew, a family, a team, a nation, a world. We can’t make it without each other. Whatever our job, whatever our responsibility, we hold each other up.

Dragons traditionally symbolize potent and auspicious powers. The dragon can be a symbol of power, activity, good fortune, strength, good luck, and immortality for people who are worthy of it. In ancient days the dragon was regarded as a most sacred animal with supernatural power, wisdom, and hidden knowledge.

We pull dragon from the ground and Chasing Dragon is what we do. We celebrate our circle of equality and value as we fight for good fortune and good luck for our brother/sisterhood, our families and our nations. In our Dragon Circle, we will succeed together!
